About me

I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy for adults, couples, adolescents and children: offering reduced fees to students and those on low incomes. I have many years experience as a Therapist/Counsellor and am an accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am fully insured and also hold a current advanced DBS check. I offer a warm and confidential service and adhere to the BACP code of ethics. I provide help with attachment and early life trauma, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, low self esteem, confidence building, grief, loss, postnatal depression, bereavement, anger management, work related issues, post traumatic stress disorder , domestic violence, abuse and bullying etc. I am trained in cross cultural counselling and have extensive experience of working with individuals as well as couples. Further to this i have worked as a school counsellor and behaviour management consultant in both primary and secondary schools.

in addition to counselling, I also deliver Attachment and Developmental Trauma training, Therapeutic Parenting Training, confidence building workshops, managing stress and anxiety workshops, Attachment consultations for schools, nurseries, Foster Carers and Social Workers. Safeguarding courses for children and vulnerable adults, Group Therapy, Attachment Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, EMDR and Family therapy.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Counselling: Free Initial 20 min assessment
Excellent rates
Reduced fees for students and low income households

Individual Therapy

Principal Therapists £40- £65 per hour
Senior Therapist £35-£50 per hour

Registered Trained Counsellor £30 per hour


Couples Therapy

£50- £75 per hour depending on income

Family Therapy

£70 per hour


Training Rates are Charged at £345 per day 10am until 2pm £595.00 for 2 days

Monday to Friday 9.30am until 7.30pm Saturdays from 10am until 4pm
