About me
I am a Humanistic-Existential Psychotherapist who integrates therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. My work is grounded in an understanding of how historical and developmental experiences shape people’s lives, relationships, and sense of self.
I support clients by valuing their individuality, lived experiences, and intersectionality, while acknowledging the shared humanity we all bring into the therapeutic space. Many people come to therapy seeking to make sense of existential questions about identity, meaning, relationships, or even life and death. I provide a safe and reflective environment where these concerns can be explored with compassion and openness.
I am committed to being a culturally competent therapist and welcome clients of all backgrounds, genders, races, and identities. I hold an awareness of difference in the therapy room and invite clients to explore this safely, should they wish to. My practice is guided by unconditional positive regard, non-judgement, and empathy.
A key part of my work is attentiveness to attachment patterns, as these often illuminate how past relationships continue to influence present-day experiences. I have experience supporting clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, and a wide range of other mental health challenges.
I work with both short- and long-term clients, and approach endings with care by collaboratively reviewing progress, exploring readiness, and planning for a thoughtful conclusion to therapy. My overall aim is to create a space where clients can build self-awareness, resilience, and growth at a pace that feels right for them.
I also provide reflective practice sessions and a dedicated reflective space for cultural groups, schools, residential homes and organisations. My work supports teams and individuals to explore their experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, enhance communication, and improve the quality of care they offer.
These reflective spaces are tailored to the needs of each setting and may include:
Group reflective practice sessions for staff teams working with complex emotional, behavioural, or trauma-related issues.
Facilitated dialogues that help teams explore the impact of culture, identity, and personal narratives on their work and workplace relationships.
Staff well-being sessions designed to reduce burnout, manage emotional load, and create a compassionate, supportive working culture.
Case-based reflection that allows staff to think more deeply about challenging cases, dynamics, and relational processes.
Training and workshops focused on cultural awareness, trauma-informed practice, emotional intelligence, or reflective communication.
Training, qualifications & experience
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s important to know you don’t have to go through things alone. I am a qualified psychotherapist with an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of Warwick. I previously worked as a mental health practitioner and counsellor with Coventry and Warwickshire Mind. I currently offer a safe space in my private practice, where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind, whether it’s difficult feelings, painful experiences, or questions about who you are and where you’re going in life.
I take time to really listen and understand you as a whole person, not just the challenges you may be facing. Together we can look at how your past experiences might be affecting you today, explore patterns in your relationships, and find new ways of coping that feel right for you. My aim is to support you in making sense of your feelings, building resilience, and moving toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.
I work with people facing a wide range of struggles, including trauma, anxiety, low mood, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or big life changes. I also support people who are reflecting on deeper questions about identity, meaning, purpose, or spirituality.
I believe every person is unique, and I value and respect differences in all its forms. Whatever your background, culture, or identity, you will be met with care, empathy, and acceptance. Therapy with me is a collaborative process: we move at your pace, and I walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity, and understanding.
Most importantly, this is your space. A place to be heard, to feel supported, and to discover new possibilities for yourself and your life. I see therapy as a mutual process, and our first step will be exploring whether this space and relationship feel right for both of us. Therefore, I offer a one-off, no obligation 30-minute session. This is to explore the likelihood of us working together.
