About us

Sometimes life can feel like a roller coaster but that’s not always a bad thing; It can teach us a lot about ourselves and we can provide you or someone you know with the support to face those challenges head on. We’re all about embracing the messiness of life together.

Founded in 2018, as a creative response to the mental health and wellbeing of young people, aged 11-25, our mission is to make therapy accessible & affordable for all.

We don’t have a one size all approach; Our creative methods mean that we work in different & holistic ways which allow our therapy sessions to be entirely centred around what suits our clients.

Together we can;
🌱 Build resilience
🌱 Create headspace
🌱 Increase confidence... and so much more.

If you have any questions about our services, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d love to hear from you & help you on your journey towards change.

Our space is nestled in the heart of Ashley Cross, Poole, and we also offer online therapy via Zoom.

Training, qualifications & experience

Our therapists are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework. They are fully insured, hold an up to date Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate and regularly attend Continual Professional Development opportunities and clinical supervision. You can check out their bio’s on our website - www.WiredTherapy.co.uk

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
