About me

Come as you are. If you’re looking for support but not sure how to move forward, that’s ok - let's work it out together. My goal is for you to feel seen, heard and validated. Whatever issues you’re facing, therapy can support you with tools to build a stronger, more authentic sense of who you are and the life you want.

My approach is grounded and open minded - I’m deeply curious about what it means to be human, our patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving and how our life experiences can shape us. Together we can co-create a space for you to understand yourself better, break unwanted patterns, grow and find joy.

I support many of my clients with belonging and identity, exploring how social and political systems can impact our wellbeing and self-worth. I work well with creatives, particularly in the music industry. Eco-therapy outdoors in natural spaces can be a powerful way of working - some clients prefer it as a liberating alternative to more traditional therapy approaches.

Transactional Analysis is a clear and effective method that supports our understanding of ourselves and our relationships with others. My approach is inclusive, culturally competent, and deeply values the therapeutic relationship as a vehicle for growth. My anti-oppressive framework keeps my work fresh, relevant to our current times and suitable for clients of all backgrounds.

I understand that reaching out for the right therapist takes real courage and can feel overwhelming. Feel free to contact me for an informal intro chat.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
