About me
Working with individuals
Anxiety and overthinking can leave you mentally exhausted — constantly analysing, worrying, and struggling to switch off. You may feel overwhelmed by your thoughts, emotionally drained, stuck in self-doubt, or finding it difficult to cope with everyday decisions and pressures.
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can explore what’s happening beneath these patterns and work towards helping you feel more emotionally steady and in control.
Clients often tell me they feel able to speak openly without judgement, even about thoughts or feelings they’ve struggled to explain elsewhere. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and better equipped to manage life with greater clarity, confidence, and calm.
For some people, these feelings are connected to ADHD, where challenges with focus, emotional regulation, procrastination, burnout, or feeling misunderstood can begin to affect confidence and daily life. Often, people become highly self-critical and blame themselves for struggling, even after years of trying to manage things alone.
Working with couples I offer a non-judgemental space, where both partners are equally valued. My role is to support calm, respectful conversation, helping each person feel heard and understood.
I help to resolve .. Communication difficulties, conflict and recurring arguments, breaches of trust (including infidelity), intimacy and sexual concerns, emotional disconnection
Working with bereavement,
It is common to experience a wide range of feelings. Anxiety, loneliness, and a sense of emptiness are also common. Some people may feel guilty, or regretful about things said or left unsaid. You might notice sudden mood changes, feeling okay one moment and overwhelmed the next. All of these reactions are a normal part of grief. We can talk about these feelings and help you to understand your response to loss.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
When we first meet, my priority is you. I focus on helping to reduce anxiety and creating a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe and understood. My aim is to support you in developing the confidence and skills to cope with your current situation.
If you are experiencing bereavement, we can gently explore the painful emotions that come with it. In your own time, and when it feels right, we can also begin to look towards a more hopeful future.
When working with couples, I ensure that my care and commitment extends equally to both partners. My goal is to create a safe, balanced space where everyone feels heard, respected, and supported.
If you are seeking supervision, I have experience supporting counsellors at different stages of their professional journey - from those just starting out to those with many years of practice. My primary aim is to support you in what can be an emotionally demanding role. I have trained extensively with Robin Shohet and work using the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision.
