About me

About Me

I work with individuals and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling to cope, whether due to anxiety, low mood, grief, self-doubt, or relationship difficulties. Many of my clients want to understand themselves better, feel more grounded, and improve how they cope with life’s challenges.

I am also passionate about individuals & couples facing fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, recurrent miscarriage, and other reproductive health issues.

I bring a strong clinical foundation, with experience in hospital-based neuro-rehabilitation and in providing 1:1, couples, and group therapy both in person and online. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology and am a BACP-registered therapist.

How I Work
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I tailor our work to suit your needs, aiming to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. Whether it’s through kindness, humour, or thoughtful reflection, I want you to feel at ease, like you can bring your whole self into the room.

 How Counselling Can Help
Therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. It can help you explore stuck patterns, understand your emotions, and find new ways to cope or grow.

What to Expect in Your First Session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’d like support with.

Get in Touch
Feel free to call or email with any questions, or you’re welcome to book a free initial conversation to see if we’re a good fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a registered member of the BACP. My background includes working in hospital and community-based settings, offering one-to-one therapy to people facing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges.

I use a relational and person-centred approach, grounded in empathy, honesty, and respect. This means our work is led by what matters most to you, within a therapeutic relationship built on trust and connection. I believe healing happens in relationship through being seen, heard, and accepted just as you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
