About me

I am a person-centred counsellor and a well-being coach. I experienced in delivering face-to-face, telephone, and online talk therapy. Please feel free to contact me to arrange a free of charge initial assessment by phone.

As a person-centred therapist, I focus my attention on listening to your priorities. I use an empathic, confidential, and non-judgemental approach to facilitate you, as my client, to feel safe and secure enough to share your issues. These person-centred conditions are at the core of my work with clients and contribute towards a mutually trusting therapeutic relationship.

As a well-being coach, I help to individualise your goals and define the actions for achieving them. I assist in the development process planned.

I am a warm, empathic and caring person by nature, and I am there to support you and your developing process in a non-directive way. I am guided by the client’s experience and needs to achieve the best possible outcome.

I adhere to the Ethical Framework laid down by the BACP which emphasises principles of fidelity, autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, justice and self-respect. I follow the BACP’s Professional Conduct Procedure. I provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their issues.

Prior to this, I worked for over 15 years as a Career Counsellor in Italy, so I have an extensive face-to-face experience with a wide and diverse cross-section of the community. Past clients have said I have made a positive difference in their lives, and this is what drives me in my client work.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
