About me
About Me & My Therapy Practice
I am an integrative, relational BACP-registered counsellor with over 15 years’ experience working across the NHS and private practice. I am also a trauma specialist, trained in EMDR, with extensive experience supporting individuals and couples affected by PTSD and complex PTSD (C-PTSD).
I know how hard it can be to reach out for support. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure where to begin — often carrying experiences that have been held quietly for a long time.
My work is rooted in creating a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and begin to make sense of what has shaped you. I am particularly drawn to working with trauma, PTSD, and complex trauma, and with people who have learned to survive by staying strong, capable, or invisible. Therapy offers a place where you no longer have to do that alone.
I believe healing happens in relationship — through being heard, understood, and met with care rather than judgement. Whether you are coming as an individual or as a couple, we work at a pace that respects your nervous system and your life experience, gently building insight, choice, and emotional resilience.
You do not need to have the right words or a clear story before we begin. We can start exactly where you are.
Alongside my BACP clinical training, I studied in San Diego, California, with the Life Purpose Institute, qualifying as a Certified Life and Music Industry Coach. This has deeply informed my work with music and film creatives particularly those with high sensitivity, strong inner worlds, or unique gifts who may struggle with burnout, identity, or self-trust. I support clients in finding clarity, direction, and a more authentic way of living and relating.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
