About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck in old patterns? Are you ready to reclaim your confidence and sense of self after trauma or abuse?
I'm an integrative counsellor, fully insured and registered member of the BACP, with certification in trauma-informed care and specialise in domestic abuse recovery.
I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support, which is why I create a safe, calm, non-judgemental, welcoming space where you can feel at ease, truly seen, and not alone in whatever you are carrying.
Therapy with me isn't a one size fits all. It is relational, collaborative, creative and trauma-informed, connecting both mind/body awareness because trauma and emotional pain live in both. Top-down and bottom-up processing allows to focus on helping you reconnect with your inner resources and sense of self.
My integrative approach draws from a wide range of evidence-based therapies, modalities and interventions, tailored to your unique, individual needs. These include trauma informed, complex trauma, psychoeducation, humanistic, psychodynamic, gestalt, DBT, somatic and sensorimotor approaches, as well as parts work (IFS), attachment and inner-child healing.
As an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, I work professionally with many challenges that come with being human, these include trauma, domestic abuse, addictions, bereavement/loss, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, mental health, ADHD/ASD, OCD, BPD and emotional dysregulation.
My background in child care and early education gave me a heartfelt understanding of how early relationships shape who we become and how childhood experiences and societal struggles reflect the emotional patterns that add to these dynamics. Alongside this my own lived experiences have deepened my empathy and commitment to understanding the complexities of what it is to be human. My lived experiences have enabled me to bring both professional knowledge and personal insight into supporting others on their healing journey.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing can happen in safe, connected relationships making the therapeutic relationship we have, of upmost importance. Therefore, I offer a 20 minute free, phone call or in person consultation, for us to get a feel for each other, ensuring we are the right fit for excellent therapy to begin.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
