About me
Hi, I'm Sunee Goring, I offer a holistic approach to therapy by integrating counselling, psychotherapy and coaching. Using this approach means I can give you a full range of support, to enable you to heal; to change and to grow.
Who I Work with:
You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, social anxiety, imposter syndrome, anger or low self-esteem. You may have relationship problems due to jealousy, betrayal, endings or repeatedly dating those who hurt you.
You might feel stuck, finding it difficult to understand why, feeling unable to move on with your life as you would wish. You could be finding big life changes, family issues, work, identity, sexuality, perfectionism, parenting, conceiving, midlife, school/university, or your past, difficult to deal with.
Whatever brings my clients to therapy, we’ll explore it together to find meaning, purpose, and a path forward.
Your Therapy Journey: To Heal, To Change, To Grow
A space to heal:
I’ll offer you a secure, empathic, non-judgemental space where you’ll be supported to release, untangle and process your difficult thoughts, feelings or behaviours and make more sense of them. You’ll be supported to explore and understand yourself on a deeper level, to take stock of your life and to fully explore the impact your experiences have had on you and the way you feel right now.
A space to change:
We’ll explore how your life experiences, or the people in your life, have informed the thought patterns and belief systems you have, that are making you feel bad, standing in your way, or stopping you from feeling able to make the important decisions or changes you want to make. Once you understand and accept yourself more, you can begin to understand and recognise your unhelpful belief systems, weigh them up, challenge them, and start to develop more constructive ways of thinking and managing, and begin to move forwards.
A space to grow:
We’ll look at what it is that you really, really want from your life. What makes you happy? Proud of yourself? Fulfilled? You are in charge of your growth and taking your life in the direction you want it to go in. I will be behind you all the way. We’ll look beneath your desires to think about values, strengths, meaning and purpose and set up achievable goals that move you towards your aspirations to help you feel more fulfilled, purposeful and empowered.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
