About me
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here.
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or low in self-esteem? Struggling after a bereavement, relationship breakdown, or major life change? Maybe you simply want to understand yourself better and live more fully.
I’m Sinead, an experienced integrative psychotherapist offering a warm, supportive space where you can talk freely, feel heard, and begin to move forward with clarity and confidence.
How I Can Help
I work with adults, couples and groups on a range of emotional and relational challenges. My integrative approach means I tailor therapy to you, your needs, your goals, and your pace. Together we’ll explore what’s going on for you and build the tools you need to heal, grow, and live more fully.
Specialist Areas
🕊️ Grief & Bereavement (including baby/child loss)
I specialise in grief following the death of a baby, child, or adult child (at any stage of life or gestation). As a bereaved parent myself, I bring deep understanding and a respectful, non-judgmental space where your experience is honoured. No assumptions, just care.
I've written resources and blogs for national organisations including the BACP, developed national training, and facilitated groups for bereaved parents and families.
💬 Anxiety, Depression & Self-Worth
If anxiety or low mood are affecting your daily life, we’ll work together to make sense of what's going on beneath the surface. Therapy can help you break free from outdated patterns, reduce self-blame, and feel more in control, resilient, and connected to your calm and authentic self.
🧠 Support for Parents, Teachers & Carers
With a background in education (ages 2–19), I offer insightful support for those navigating the challenges of parenting or working with children and teens in today’s world.
👁️ Sight Loss & Visual Impairment
As an RNIB-accredited Sight Loss Counsellor, I provide sensitive support to individuals or families adjusting to visual impairment.
❤️ Couples Counselling
Whether you're struggling with communication, trust, or intimacy, I offer a calm, balanced space to understand each other more deeply, reconnect, and rebuild.
🎓 Student Counsellors (Reduced Rates)
As a former educator, I support student counsellors with personal therapy and skills mentoring; helping you get the most from your training and personal development journey.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
