About me
Are you experiencing depression or anxiety?

-Are you struggling with lack of motivation or feelings of hopelessness?
-Are you experiencing anxiety and worry or struggling to manage feelings of overwhelm or uncertainty?
-Are you struggling with negative thoughts or lacking in confidence?
-Do you feel your chronic pain or health condition is controlling your life?
If so, I can help.
I am Sheena, a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
I specialise working in Chronic Pain and long term physical health conditions. I offer 1-1 sessions in person at Wilmlsow or online via video conferencing or telephone.
I have 15+ years experience working in the field of mental health. I have been working in private practice for 8 years.
I have been a specialist in chronic pain and long term health conditions for 9 years. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) which I utilise and use in my sessions.
I am accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
I am extremely passionate about my work. I am always non-judgemental, empathic, compassionate and approachable. I provide time and space for us to work through your problems. I am warm, caring and have a good sense of humour!
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a very collaborative therapy so this means we work together as a team to work towards your goals and gain a mutual understanding of your main difficulties. This will allow us to agree the best way to move forward and address your difficulties.
I know it can be really hard to reach out for help, so thank you for taking the time to read my profile. You can send me a message, email or call. I offer a free 15 minute introductory call where we can chat about your main difficulties, what you are wanting to gain from therapy and gives you a chance to ask me any questions you have to find out if I am the right therapist and right fit for you.
My hope is to help you develop strategies to help make a meangingul change to your current situation and difficulties. I always strive to empower people, to feel confident and in control to manage their problems and to move from surviving in life to thriving.
