About me

Sometimes, we all need a space that feels truly safe. Somewhere we can get really honest with ourselves about what isn’t working in our lives and how we truly feel, with a trusted ally who is there to listen, support and guide, without judgment.

At its heart, there are two core pillars to my work: personal truth and empowerment. And we reach these only when we listen carefully to our thoughts and feelings whilst also connecting with - and trusting deeply - the wisdom of our bodies.

I know first-hand how life-changing therapy can be and have had the privilege of accompanying a wide variety of clients from all walks of life as they rediscover or discover for the first time, who they truly are and use this self-awareness to make the changes they need in their lives.

You are always the only expert on your life. The beauty of my role is to offer a fresh perspective, a curious mind and a compassionate ear, to help you on your journey to a happier, healthier, truer life.

My sessions are largely Person-Centred, but I also draw on knowledge and methods from several other models that include Gestalt, CBT, Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory and Existentialism.

Sometimes clients come to me with specific goals to work on, and our sessions have a structure more in line with coaching. I find this solution-focused way of working can be a very effective, empowering way of approaching therapy. Other clients simply want to feel safe, held and heard whilst we navigate whatever comes up during our time together. There is no “right” way to go about therapy and I am very happy to follow your lead.

Areas I can help with include: Anxiety; Depression, Women's Issues (infertility, pregnancy, abortion, pre and post-natal, peri-menopause, menopause, etc); Identity issues; Sexuality; Self-Confidence; Relationship Problems; Mother and Father Wounds; Personal Development, Stress, etc.

The topic of Living Loss also appears frequently in my work with clients – the losses we all encounter that have nothing to do with death, for example the endings of friendships, relationships, different roles in life, physical or mental capabilities, etc. Identifying these losses and working through them can be a profoundly healing process.
