About me
Hi, my name is Dr Ranjeet. With extensive experience in addressing complex interpersonal issues, I am a dedicated HCPC-accredited Counselling Psychologist committed to helping individuals navigate and overcome the emotional and psychological impacts of domestic abuse, childhood trauma, bullying, and vicarious trauma. I have worked in the mental health sector for over 10 years and have experience working with common mental health difficulties as well as more complex ones. I specialise in working with the South Asian community, helping them navigate the unique cultural challenges they face. With a deep understanding of cultural dynamics and identity issues, I aim to empower my clients to achieve greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel safe to explore the challenges they face and to reconcile cultural expectations with personal aspirations, fostering resilience and growth. I aim to empower individuals to take back control of their lives and to make choices that align with their authentic selves. If this resonates with you, I would love for us to work together!
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach is empathetic and client-centred, focusing on empowering individuals to understand themselves, their experiences and their relationships better. I offer online psychological therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to your specific needs. I have experience in using various therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems Model, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mentalisation Based Therapy and Person-Centred, Trauma-informed and Psychodynamic Models.
