About me

Starting Therapy? Let’s Make It a Little Less Daunting
Opening up in therapy can feel like a leap into the unknown. Talking to a stranger about your deepest pain, self-doubt, or the heaviness of your thoughts? It’s a big step—and I respect the courage it takes. But here’s the good news: you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to guide you, with understanding, insight, and maybe even the occasional light-hearted moment.

If you’re feeling stuck—whether it’s stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma—and you’re ready to move beyond just “coping,” I can help.

Why Work With Me?
A Unique, Intuitive Approach: Therapy with me is anything but cookie-cutter. I combine professional expertise with a highly intuitive style to uncover the deeper layers of what’s holding you back. Whether it’s through metaphor, guided imagery, or dream analysis, I work creatively to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.
Professional & Compassionate: As a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (Level 6 Diploma), my training meets the highest BACP and UKCP standards. You can feel confident knowing you’re in safe, skilled hands.
A Balanced Style: I bring depth, insight, and a touch of humour to our sessions. Therapy is serious work, but that doesn’t mean it has to feel heavy all the time. Feeling relaxed and at ease is vital for the deep exploration we’ll do.

What I Can Help With
I specialize in working with:

  • Anxiety, stress, and depression
  • Low self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Relationship and sexual difficulties
  • Grief, loss, and loneliness
  • PTSD and trauma, including childhood abuse (psychological, physical, or sexual)

Existential anxiety and the “big questions” that can leave you feeling stuck.

My Approach

Integrative, Humanistic, and Person-centred:

I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities—CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, creative techniques, and more—to tailor sessions to your unique needs.
Intuitive Depth: My strength lies in uncovering patterns and connections you may not have noticed. By exploring the subconscious through imagery, metaphor, and dream analysis, we can make sense of your inner world and shift unhelpful beliefs.
Safe & Supportive: Building trust and creating a safe, non-judgmental space is at the heart of my work, especially when tackling difficult issues like trauma or abuse.
Ready to talk?
I offer online therapy only—no face-to-face sessions. While that might feel like a compromise, it actually works beautifully. Most of my clients find it incredibly convenient and surprisingly personal after their first session. Therapy from the comfort of your home? No awkward waiting rooms, no commute—just you, me, and the work we’ll do together.

If you’re ready to take that first step, get in touch. We’ll work together to untangle what’s going on, make sense of the challenges you’re facing, and help you move toward a place of understanding and positive change.

Your journey is yours—but you don’t have to walk it alone.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
