About me
My promise.
I will treat you with the dignity and respect we should all receive, on the deeply personal journey to wellbeing.
It is all about you!
I am a Person Centered Therapist, that means it really is all about you!
You decide what you would like to address in Therapy. You decide what works for you and what doesn't.
I have a toolkit bursting full of skills to meet your needs at this time, whatever you are facing.
Whether I see you Online UK wide, or Face to Face in Barnsley, I look forward to welcoming you with compassion and sensitivity.
Therapy doesn't have to be challenging, you can expect a gentle and empathic experience with me, no matter how difficult things feel for you right now.
I do not pry or tell you what to do. I let you take the lead at all times.
Affordable & Accessible.
I believe that Quality Counselling should be affordable and accessible for everyone.
For this reason I have fixed my fee to £50 per session, and am available at the times you need to access your Therapist.
Mon – Fri form 12 noon till 10 pm.
My Vision.
It's simple - to help you overcome and heal. I have been fortunate to work with Turning Point, Mind; (Face to Face) & Choose Therapy (Online), UK wide.
How you experience your world is important to me.
"Faith, hope, love, and insight are the highest achievements of human effort" Carl Jung.
Am I right for you?
My life experiences are varied and complex. From leaving care and moving to start a new life in Florence, Italy at 16, to returning back to the UK 10 years later. I've worked in the Corporate World, on International Platforms, War Zones, Local Government and as a HR Manager. I've even lived with Buddhist Monks during decades of exploration and discovery, into our shared human condition.
We all go through so many phases in life, and sometimes we all need a bit of help, because life is a lot!
If it is important for you to be fully heard and understood, that your Therapist has personal insights and experience, check out my website, because I may just be who you are looking for...
Whatever you are facing right now, whatever thoughts, feelings & life events you would like to address, I am here for you.
I work at a real Relational Depth, understand the Mind-Body Connection, Somatic Experiencing, Anxiety and Trauma.
We are more than we think we are.
We have untapped resilience and an immense capacity to heal. I would love the opportunity to prove that to you. I have walked the walk, and I am not afraid of "hard talk".

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
