About me

🌟 Welcome! I'm a seasoned integrative therapist, well-versed in transactional analysis and person-centered theory. In my journey, I've also delved into the world of brief solution-focused therapy through my work with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). I know these theories can seem like a labyrinth of jargon, but at heart, they mean one thing – I'm here to talk to you like a human, without judgment, and help you find your best path forward.

🔍 Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with trainees, gaining insights into the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), a widely-used approach by the NHS. It's particularly potent in tackling anxiety, and I've witnessed incredible transformations.

🌱 My core belief is that you are the expert in your life. I'm here as your guide, your ally, to help you uncover your goals or even discover them for the first time. I want to be part of your journey towards becoming the version of yourself you aspire to be.

😌 I understand that therapy can be intimidating, but you've taken a courageous step just by reading this. My mission is to make this process as comfortable as possible, and I'm here to address any questions or concerns you may have.

🤝 With about five years of experience, I've witnessed countless individuals achieve what once seemed impossible. To start, I offer a free initial session so you can determine if I'm the right fit for you. If not, no worries – I might be able to guide you toward the support you seek.

💻 Currently, I offer online sessions and phone consultations, allowing flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I eagerly await the opportunity to connect with you whenever you're ready.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
