About me

Hi, I'm Natalie.  I understand the importance of having a safe space to explore your feelings and difficult situations that may occur during life. Whilst mental health awareness may be increasing, so are the demands in everyday life. My role is to support you in exploring together any issues that feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, empowering you to come to an understanding and be able to make the changes you need.

I am an integrative counsellor which enables me to implement several modalities of counselling, providing the flexibility and knowledge to work with a range of skills and techniques that are best suited to you as an individual. One shoe does not fit all and it is important to acknowledge that although people may experience similar situations, there can be many different feelings, emotions and reactions that may be felt as a result.

Experienced in working with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, relationship concerns and working with neurodivergent children and adults. I believe the best way for you to get a sense of who I am and to see how I can help, is by providing a free 15-minute chat with no obligations. Feel free to contact me today, so we can discuss how we could work together.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
