About me
At times, life can feel overwhelming and challenging. You may feel anxious, stressed, or stuck, and find it difficult to express how you feel or feel that no one is really listening. Reaching out for support can be difficult, but it is an important first step towards change.
As an integrative therapist, I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including Gestalt, psychodynamic, and CBT, allowing me to tailor therapy to your individual needs.
My approach includes:
Gestalt therapy, focusing on the ‘here and now’ holistic awareness of your mind and body; immediate thoughts, feelings, emotions and present behaviours.
Psychodynamic therapy explores how unconscious processes, childhood experiences, and past relationships shape how you feel and relate today.
CBT helps identify and challenge negative thought patterns and helps break cycles of distress.
I work collaboratively with you to explore your experiences and support you in finding your own way forward. I pay particular attention to how past experiences may influence your present thoughts, feelings, and relationships, helping you to understand and work through recurring patterns that may be holding you back.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and supported. Together, we can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, helping you make sense of your experiences and find ways to manage the difficulties you are facing.
I believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. I offer a calm and compassionate approach, working in a way that helps you feel empowered, understood, and accepted.
Whether you are looking for short-term, focused support or longer-term, deeper work, we can move at a pace that feels right for you.
I am also passionate about supporting individuals who want to feel more like themselves and live a more fulfilling life, including building healthier relationships and creating a life that feels meaningful to them.
I have experience working with children, young people, adults of all genders, and couples, supporting a wide range of issues. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy tailored to your needs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
You are welcome to contact me by text or email, with your name, contact details, a brief summary of your struggles and what support you are looking for. I can then arrange an initial free 15-minute session to discuss a way of working together and ideas of how you would like to move forward.
This initial 15-minute free online or telephone session helps give you a chance to talk and explore your reasons for seeking therapy. An opportunity for you to identify your hopes, expectations, and goals of therapy and ask any questions. During this initial session, you will be able to see how it feels talking with me about the issues you are facing and then be able to make an informed decision as to whether you feel counselling with me is something that you would like to pursue further.
