I am a qualified Relationship, Couples & Sex Therapist. Having trained in the NHS, I specialise in working with couples and individuals who are struggling with relationship and sexual difficulties.
Relationship issues may include: Sex & intimacy, sexual dysfunctions in relationship, fears of commitment/intimacy, communication issues, conflict management, trust issues, infidelity, affairs, mismatched desires/sexualities/experience, changes in your relationship (such as pre-marital therapy, finances, living together, illness, grief and bereavement, having children).
Sexual Issues may include: Pain in your genitals (vaginismus, dyspareunia, penile pain), pain during penetration, orgasm issues/inability to orgasm(anorgasmia), erection or ejaculation issues, low desire/arousal issues, compulsive sexual behaviour (porn compulsivity), ChemSex, sexual abuse or trauma, sexual phobias.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Psychosexual, Relationship and Couples Therapist (PGdip) and a Registered member of the professional body COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists). I trained as a Psychosexual Therapist within the NHS Sexual Health South West London service and now work online nationwide and in-person from my private practice in South West London.
I offer you a free 15 minute call for us to say hello, for you to decide if I am the right therapist and to ask any questions you may have.
It can feel uncomfortable talking about sex and your relationship difficulties and while our discussions may present challenges, I will navigate them with gentle guidance, empathy, and sometimes a touch of humour. I follow an Integrative approach, meaning I use a variety of theoretical approaches and techniques which are tailored to you and your reason for attending therapy. I'm here to support you every step of the way. My commitment is to create a warm, confidential and compassionate space where you feel heard, seen and understood without fear of judgement or shame. Helping you to overcome your sexual difficulties and relationship challenges, so you can move towards a joyful sex life, and deeper relationship, whatever that may mean for you.
