About me

My name is Malgorzata, but friends and clients call me Camyla, my middle name. I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor, arts counsellor and hypnotherapist. I can converse both in Polish and English, and I have an awareness of other cultures. Not only that, I have experience helping clients with relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, intimacy-related issues, & motivation, self-esteem, bullying and confidence. I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds and ages, and my speciality is working with children and men.

No session or client is the same, and I embrace and encourage individuality and uniqueness. When I am accepted, I am less afraid to tackle difficulties or explore complicated feelings, and I learn to value myself more. Having experienced that first-hand, I want to offer you my full acceptance, too.

In this flexible approach, we will work collaboratively and tailor our sessions to suit you- the client. Clients need different things at different times and your preferences, needs and experiences are invaluable contributions to our time together.

Being truthful to my warm and accepting nature, I will help you explore what hurts and hold you as we venture to where the pain lies. Whenever others warmly receive me; I am kinder to myself and when that happens, my self-doubt and criticism slowly disappear. I will provide that same warmth and compassion to support you on your journey.

To help you understand yourself better, I may offer experiential exercises, tools and worksheets. When words are difficult to find, we may work creatively. Engaging with art therapeutically can reveal hidden or forgotten aspects that negatively affect our well-being. When I work with children, I often incorporate art, metaphors, or play to help them process what is happening in their worlds and find relief without labelling, explaining, or naming anything. Some adults also find working creatively tremendously beneficial.

I am a deeply caring, empathic, sensitive, and creative person. I can put myself in others’ shoes and see the world from their perspective. Likewise, I am flexible and open-minded.

What emerges in therapy can often be overwhelming, but can you imagine what impact that growth and awareness can have on your life?

I enjoy connecting with people and listening to their stories; it is a privilege to be a part of someone’s journey, witness their growth and personal development, and hold them through their vulnerabilities as they face different obstacles.

If I sound like the kind of person you would like to work with, please get in touch.
