About me

People seek out therapy for many different reasons. It might be for help with feelings of anxiety and depression, feelings of being stuck or isolated. Sometimes we look for support after a sudden change or a traumatic experience, or for help to discover why we may feel uneasy in our own skin even then externally everything seems to be ‘just fine’. We might want something new but feel anxious about making a change and might need support in leaving the safety of what has felt familiar. Therapy is somewhere you can come to talk, confidentially, about whatever it is that affects you.

At the core of our work will be respect and care. It will be a time and a space for you to share your story and to be heard, to talk about your past and present relationships, unresolved issues and conflicts that unbeknown to you might be dominating your present.

Therapy might lead you to explore why you feel the way you do, to gain insights into your thought processes, to identify issues and patterns that may be preventing you from moving forward, to gradually develop the capacity to understand and respond to those issues in a way that is lifegiving.

Please get in touch by phone or email to arrange a free 15 minute consulatation.

During our initial session (50 minutes) you might find it helpful to share what it is that brings you to therapy and why at this moment. Once it is decided that you would like to move ahead, we will agree a day and a time for our weekly sessions (50 minutes).
