About me
I’m a UKCP-accredited Clinical Psychotherapist, Counsellor, and Institute of Management Business Coach, bringing a rich and diverse background across Health and Mental Health, Social Inclusion, Education, Executive Management, HR, Theatre, and Media. In 2009, I was awarded an MBE for services to communities - recognition of my commitment to authentic human connection and social impact.
My approach is relational and integrative, rooted in Gestalt therapy, drawing from body, mind, and emotional awareness. I believe that, with the right support, insight - and challenge - we can all find lasting change. Therapy with me is far from passive; I’m engaged, intuitive, warm - and not afraid to shine a light where it’s needed. If you’ve been looking for answers in the same place, I’ll help you see things differently. As Anaïs Nin said, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.”
In 2021, I fulfilled a lifelong dream and moved aboard a narrowboat on the River Nene.
Life afloat with my dog, Lily, and a backdrop of wildlife and water brings serenity and perspective to my work. This quieter way of living deepens my connection to the rhythm of life and to my clients.
Whether in 1:1 therapy or group work, I meet people with presence, curiosity, and compassion. You’ll feel seen, valued - and alive - in a space where your story matters - and where the possibility for lasting transformation can begin.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
