About me
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” - Carl Jung
I offer online and face to face counselling for people who want to better understand themselves, explore their inner world, and create meaningful change in their lives.
My approach is warm, reflective, and collaborative. At the heart of my work is a person-centred foundation. Because of this, I aim to provide a non-judgmental space where you can think openly, feel heard, and explore your experiences at your own pace.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Jungian therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, creative therapy approaches, and solution-focused thinking. This allows our work together to remain flexible and responsive to your individual needs.
I see therapy as a shared process rather than an advice-led one. I work best with clients who are open to curiosity, reflection, and self-exploration. Together, we can explore patterns, deepen understanding, and support your sense of agency and direction.
Client feedback:
"Leigh really showed me what counselling should be and changed my initial perception of it. She helped me to understand my way of thinking and how that can be worked on practically."
"To think, not too long ago I was worried about going to counselling. I look back now and I can safely say it is one of the best things I have done. It was a big step to make but once I started my sessions with Leigh I really did discover so many different resolutions to the problems I was facing, along with being able to come to terms with emotions I struggled to deal with, which I think is a massive problem a lot of people face. I couldn’t be happier with my experience in counselling and Leigh made everything feel so natural."
"I was in a very bad place when I first started having sessions with Leigh, and did not feel like myself. However, over the past months with regular sessions, I have progressed to the point where I feel happier and have begun to feel like myself again. The methods and tools that Leigh incorporated in my sessions, especially the ones involving creativity, really stuck with me and have been amazingly effective. I feel more able to deal with the negatives that come my way without giving up immediately. I always felt safe and understood during my sessions, and never felt judged. I would not hesitate to recommend Leigh to anyone else struggling with depression or anxiety, as I have."

Helping you to navigate PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) through specialist counselling and support.
I received my PMDD diagnosis in 2023 after years of difficulties. During that time, I often felt that the PMDD support I needed simply wasn’t available.
Repeated cycles of burning everything to the ground, including my sense of self, relationships, work, and hobbies, left me without a stable foundation from which to navigate daily life. Each month, I had to take stock of what remained and what needed repairing. This process became exhausting, and I dreaded it deep in the pit of my stomach.
Anxiety, panic, guilt, confusion, sadness, brain fog, imposter syndrome, and paranoia shaped my life in different ways throughout the month. These experiences affected me during the height of PMDD symptoms and while I tried to rebuild afterwards.
Years of self-insight, compassion, support, and training have brought me to where I am today. PMDD remains part of my life, but I now respond to it rather than allowing it to control me.
Through these specialist PMDD counselling sessions, I invite you to take up space and explore your whole experience. Together, we can explore how PMDD affects your life and develop tools and strategies that help you navigate both your diagnosis and the challenges that come with it.
We will explore PMDD as both a whole-life experience and a changing monthly cycle. Together, we can identify patterns, reassess what is helping, and adapt strategies as your needs evolve. We will approach this work with compassion, curiosity, and flexibility.
Supporting people with PMDD is very close to my heart. My hope is that our work together helps you develop a stronger sense of steadiness in who you are and what you are navigating.

About me
Hi, I’m Leigh. I’m an integrative counsellor offering online counselling and supervision. I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling from CPCAB, alongside an Open Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy. I’m also a Professional Accredited member of the NCPS, fully insured, and ICO registered.
My interest in counselling grew from a long-standing curiosity about people, relationships, and the ways we experience ourselves and the world around us. I feel particularly drawn to ideas from existentialism, existential phenomenology, and depth psychology, which explore themes such as identity, meaning, uncertainty, and the deeper parts of human experience.
These interests shape the way I approach client work. Instead of focusing only on problems or solutions, I aim to create space for reflection, self-awareness, and understanding.
As someone who has experienced therapy myself, I understand how important it is to find a counsellor you genuinely feel comfortable with. With this in mind, I aim to create a space where clients can speak openly, feel respected, and explore themselves without pressure or judgment. I value authenticity within the therapeutic relationship and recognise that no two people experience life in the same way.
Alongside counselling, I also enjoy supporting counsellors and trainees through supervision. I find it incredibly rewarding to watch supervisees grow in confidence, develop their own therapeutic voice, and deepen their understanding of client work over time.
