About me

If you feel like nothing's ever good enough, overthink whether you're getting things right, feel scared to try new things and put yourself out there, and feel like it's hard to meet the expectations despite how hard you're trying, I've got you.

You might feel anxious, frustrated, or exhausted and your head might be full of "should do" and "must do" thoughts.

Whether you find it hard to switch off from racing thoughts or have a critical voice in your mind that’s causing problems with self-doubt, motivation, or time management, I’m here for you. You might feel like you’re on a hamster wheel, working hard but struggling to cope. Let’s work it out together.

I offer a friendly ear and a practical mind, and together we’ll work on strategies to address the root causes of your difficulties for you to become more effective at home and in the workplace.

Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, stress, or low self-esteem or you're prone to people pleasing, bottling up emotions, perfectionism, procrastination, or self-criticism.

Through online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, I can help you understand yourself and your circumstances more fully, recognise and manage your emotions, reframe your thoughts, and communicate more effectively. Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals so that we work in a way that’s valuable for you.

I know that therapy can feel daunting, I am friendly and calm and will create safe and secure sessions for you. Like with many things, the thought of doing it is usually scarier than actually doing it, imagine how good you'll feel afterwards.

Next steps:

The first step is to contact me to arrange an initial consultation which is 30 minutes and is carried out by phone.

The initial consultation is a chance for me to hear what’s bringing you along to therapy and what you’d like to work on. I’ll explain a bit more about CBT and how I work, and I’ll answer any questions you might have.

After that, we can book in our first session to get your therapy started!

My working days are Monday-Friday 8.30am-7.30pm, I respond to emails and inquiries during these times.

Let’s get started.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. Since qualifying, I've provided therapy in community and corporate settings and with people from various cultural and religious backgrounds, and with people with long-term health conditions and disabilities.

My main areas of interest are working with issues surrounding self-esteem, anxiety, and stress. I often provide therapy for busy professionals, those who are in demanding jobs, or run their own businesses.

I engage in regular training and supervision, and I run a monthly book review on my website.

My hopes for you:

My hopes for your time in therapy are for you to feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. I communicate without complicated psycho-jargon, and I am friendly and calm. I go beyond listening, offering you gentle challenge so that you can re-evaluate thoughts and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck in your difficulties so that you can move forward.
