About me
Scrolling through therapist profiles can feel more than a little daunting.
You might have managed on your own for a long time. Reaching out can feel like a big step, but also a big relief when it’s done.
From the outside, it might look like things are going well for you. But inside, your mind doesn’t really switch off: overthinking decisions, replaying conversations, criticising yourself for mistakes and not praising yourself for any wins. Maybe you wonder if you’re doing enough.
I see people like you who:
- Lie awake thinking of all the things you didn't do that day and what you need to do tomorrow
- Wake in the morning with a pit of dread in your stomach
- Struggle to switch off and are mentally “on” most of the time
- Second-guess decisions, even when you’re experienced and capable
- Feel pressure to maintain high standards, but it never quite feels enough
- Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted despite things looking “fine” on paper
How to work with me:
Consultation – 30 minutes, £25
The therapy process starts with an initial consultation where I can hear what's bringing you along, explain how I work, and answer any questions you might have. You'll leave feeling lighter and with an initial plan for what will help.
Book your consultation here: https://therapywithkirsty.co.uk/contact-me
Individual Therapy Sessions – £100
Ongoing 60-minute therapy sessions tailored to your needs.
Six-Session Block – £540
A block of six 60-minute sessions at a reduced rate, offering focused support and space to begin making meaningful changes.
Clarity Session – £150
This is for you if you're seeking clarity on a particular topic or issue without the commitment of ongoing therapy. In 90 minutes we'll explore the issue and you'll receive CBT guidance and strategies for you to implement independently after the session.
Therapy in Edinburgh: Mondays in Edinburgh, EH6 6BZ.
Online therapy across the UK: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Often, people come because they’re simply tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns and want things to feel different.
I work with business owners and senior professionals who are seen as capable and high performing but privately feel a constant pressure to perform and prove themselves.
How CBT can help:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, structured approach that helps you understand what’s driving these patterns and how to change them.
Together, we’ll work to:
- Answer the question "why am I like this" by understanding the problem and what's keeping you stuck
- Break cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, overworking and procrastination
- Develop more balanced, realistic ways of thinking
- Help you feel clearer and more confident in your decisions without constant second-guessing
-
Help you finish sessions with a a plan so you can sustain your progress even after therapy ends
Taking the first step:

- Get in touch by emailing kirsty.cbt@gmail.com I try to respond within 24 hours.
- Or you can explore my website for more information: https://therapywithkirsty.co.uk/
In our consultation, we’ll talk through what’s been going on for you and explore whether this feels like the right fit. You don’t need to prepare anything, just come as you are.
There’s no obligation to continue. But many people leave the consultation with a sense of relief - like a penny has dropped and something has started to shift.
