About me

I am a warm, empathic counsellor. I work in an integrative way, which means I draw on many different frameworks to inform how I practice and that I can tailor our sessions to your needs. I believe in being 'alongside' clients: I am not an expert on you, but a listening professional trained to help you find your own voice and way through difficulty. I am compassionate, but real and down-to-earth.

I worked in the NHS as an advanced nurse practitioner prior to counselling and this has given me a secure background in dealing with emotional distress and also informed my special interests in trauma, women's health, neurodiversity and chronic pain.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice (Nursing)
