About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. I offer a person-centered, integrative approach drawing on a range of therapies, including CBT, ACT, CFT and EMDR to tailor therapy according to your individual circumstances. I take an empathic and compassionate approach, providing a consistently safe and non-judgemental space to discuss your difficulties and to collaboratively find a way forward. Making the decision to reach out for support can be challenging but please do contact me if you think that I may be able to help.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a registered (HCPC) Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience working in the NHS with individuals experiencing a range of emotional difficulties. I have a particular interest in supporting those who are experiencing difficulties associated with living with a physical health condition.
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
