About me
I am both a fully qualified therapist, Human Givens Practitioner (HG.Dip.P) and Medical Doctor with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in therapy, occupational medicine, addiction services and General Practice. I have Breathworks training in mindfulness and meditation. My wealth of experience with individuals and businesses allows me to effectively provide therapy and coaching to anyone looking to improve their mental health.
I provide a compassionate and safe space for you to express whatever challenges you currently face. - Fully Qualified and registered Medical Doctor specialised in Family Medicine(GP) with special interest in mental health.
- Psychotherapist and counsellor - Human Givens Diploma.
- Diploma in substance misuse and addictions.
- Diploma in Occupational Medicine.
Member organisations
The Human Givens Institute (HGI) is both a membership organisation and a professional body representing the interests of those in the caring and teaching professions who have an interest in or utilise the human givens approach. Counselling Directory register Registered Members (MHGI) and Fellow Members (FHGI), who will have completed the Post Graduate Practitioner's Assessment (Part III) and who are fully qualified to practise as a human givens therapist or counsellor. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Human givens is unlike other types of therapy. As a Human Givens psychotherapist I look at the areas where a person’s life is, and is not, working well. My goal is to identify the missing emotional need or misused resources in patients’ lives. I work with adults, children, and organisations.
