About me
You don't have to know what it is that doesn't feel right.
I'm sure you're already feeling the emotional and mental pressure as it is, since you're browsing through counsellors. So let's not add any more weight to your load, by putting expectations on you as well to have all the answers.
I can help, even if that means we have an initial call and figure out that we aren't meant to work together, or you may be better suited to a different therapist, that is more than okay.
If this is the first time you have looked for a counsellor or it is for a different issue to last time you had therapy, it is better to ask any questions and find out what you need to know, so you can make an informed decision and make a start on making things feel a little less heavy for you.
Counselling can be daunting and we can keep scrolling and then talking ourselves out of why we should email or call. I've done it! Reach out, ask the questions and see how you feel after we have had a chat.
Sometimes finding a suitable counsellor and checking out their credentials, can cause as much worry and anxiety as the issue you want to bring to therapy. So any questions, just ask.
I offer a very down to earth, authentic presence, where we can figure it out together. Combining warmth and integrity, with knowledge, professionalism and experience in many areas.
My role is to provide you with a safe space, where you can really unravel and explore those deep, scary, confusing, daunting, unknown corners within and together try to align who you are inside, with who you are to the world, so you can be your most authentic self and gain some clarity on the things that are misting your vision.
I will endeavour to provide a non-judgemental space, where you will be safe to speak openly, honestly and safe when you may feel vulnerable.
I look forward to hearing from you and very best wishes on your well being journey.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
