About me

I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist working in the King’s Cross area.

Starting therapy can be a difficult step to take, even if it ends up being one of the best decisions of your life. So the fact you've made it this far is worth acknowledging in itself. Now it's about finding the right therapist for you.

That's why I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if it feels like a good fit.

I offer open-ended and time-limited therapy, depending on what kind of support you feel you need at the time. This is something we can discuss at the beginning but also could take time to emerge as we start our work together.

My approach

I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of different approaches depending on what I believe will be most effective for our work together. Sometimes we might look at your past and at other times we’ll be more focused on the present moment and what is occurring in the therapy space between us.

Workplace issues

I've also spent the best part of 15 years working in the corporate world so have seen the impact of workplace stress and burnout and I'm passionate about supporting people through such challenges.

Being in therapy

Therapy can be a voyage of self discovery - a space to get closer to who you are and to learn how and why you show up in the world. Perhaps you feel stuck or trapped. I offer a space where we can explore what it is that's stopping you moving forward.

There are some familiar themes that bring people to therapy - relationship issues, troubles at work, loneliness and isolation, low self-esteem, an ongoing search for meaning and purpose. We can explore what might be sitting underneath the challenges you're facing to help set you free so you can live a more fulfilling life.

I believe the capacity for growth is within all of us but sometimes we need a helping hand, a listening ear and a dedicated space to process your thoughts and feelings with another. I'd be delighted to hold that space for you. You'll do the work but I'll be with you every step of the way.
