About me
I am a fully qualified high-intensity counsellor with over 25 years of experience in mental health.
For the past two decades, I have supported people facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, family concerns, loneliness, bereavement, PTSD, grief, fear, worry, narcissistic abuse, social anxiety, mental and physical exhaustion, homelessness, addiction.
During challenging times, it can be easier to feel isolated and believe no one will understand. While everyone copes differently, I have learned through experience how essential the right support can be. My clients frequently express how therapy has profoundly transformed their lives.
In my therapy sessions, I take a deeply integrative approach, blended person-centred, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic techniques. This creates a supportive non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, fostering meaningful growth and positive change in your life.
I specialise in understanding the profound effects of domestic abuse- both physical and emotional-including power dynamics, childhood trauma, sexual assault and societal pressures that reinforce harm. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and designed to foster healing for both mind and body.
Furthermore as a certificated grief recovery method specialist, I provide support for over 40 types of loss, both physical and emotional. I also specialise in group therapy, fostering connection and understanding among individuals with similar experiences.
Whether you're seeking short-term, a one off session or long-term therapy, my commitment is to help you achieve emotional well-being.
I offer a free ten-minute introductory session to help you decide if I am the right fit for you. You are very welcome to contact me if you have any questions, and you can call or text me on 07594 980821 or email me here.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am able to work with you online or face to face. I work from my therapy rooms in Redditch and Stratford-upon-Avon. The premises I work from providing counselling sessions is in a very relaxed location. You may enter the waiting room directly in front of you and are welcome to make yourself a drink and have a biscuit (small donations are very much appreciated to the charity).
Why did I chose to become a counsellor ?
I have always been interested in the wellness of others, especially those who struggle with emotions. My passion for people to be well and feel accepted and understood has led me to spend the past 25 years working with people from all backgrounds with all sorts of emotional issues on a long-term and short-term basis. My approach is holistic and client-centred, adapting to each person's unique needs in the session.
How I work with my clients ..
My approach offers person-centred therapy welcoming you to a supportive, non-judgemental environment offering complete acceptance and empathy. This allows you to explore your feelings and thoughts freely. This allows where appropriate a thoughtful exploration of your past to bring clarity and healing to your present. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) can help you to gently reshape the thoughts or behaviours that no longer serve you, fostering a positive outlook on life and using psychodynamic approaches helps us to discover how we got here. Furthermore, therapy will help you develop the skills to navigate life’s challenges with calmness and mindfulness.
What I do..
My approach thoughtfully combines different therapeutic interventions to suit the unique contours of your life’s story. My sessions are a safe space, free from judgement, where every emotion is validated, and every experience is respected.
With me, you’ll find a warm-hearted professional who listens deeply, and will work with you and believe wholeheartedly in your potential for renewal and growth.
