About me

Rather than list all of my skills I thought it might be helpful to show the range of areas where I have worked and then let you decide:

I have worked with people for 47 years.

I started as a psychiatric nurse working with a range of mental health issues.

Then, as a social worker, I specialised in vulnerable individuals, families and children, who had been abused.

I next moved to be a probation officer dealing with violent and dangerous people who had abused, specialising in sex offenders.

Next I worked for 19 years as a Relate trained counsellor both in private practise and within the NHS dealing with individuals, families and children where depression, anxiety and abuse are features.

I now work only in private practice, dealing with all of the above and now  having notched. up over 26,000 hours of therapy in the last 25 years.
