About me
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with practices in Little Venice in Central London, Kempston and Bedford. I am committed to providing counselling and therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Most people experience a crisis at some point in their life, a time that can feel overwhelming. Psychotherapy and counselling can provide the space and conditions needed to explore and enable beneficial and lasting changes in our lives.
We are all unique human beings and therefore experience the world and relate to ourselves and others through our own way of being. Our work together would therefore be tailored to and guided by you. It will go at your pace, guided by your own unique nature, needs and goals. I view the person as a holistic being encompassing mind, body and soul. I believe humour is important and this can often be present in our work.
My practice in Little Venice is located within easy reach of Paddington, Maida Vale, Marylebone, Westbourne Grove, Lancaster Gate and Bayswater. My practice in Bedfordshire, is easily accessible from Kempston, Bedford, Bromham, Ampthill, Flitwick, Biggleswade, Sandy, Milton Keynes, and Cranfield.
Professional Affiliation
I am accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and bound by their code of ethics.
Counselling and Psychotherapy
People consult a psychotherapist for many different reasons. Some of these may include; relationship difficulties, bereavement, anger management, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, self esteem issues, life crisis, work related issues, panick attacks, personal development or loss of meaning and purpose in your life, and many more. You may wish to explore why patterns keep repeating in your life and how they affect you, they may for instance trigger depression or low self esteem.
Not everyone who seeks psychotherapy or counselling is in crisis, you may wish to reflect on and further explore life experiences in order to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experience of being in the world; a curiosity in knowing yourself better and achieving your potential.
I work face-to-face with adults on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with a view to enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
Drawing on my integrative training I have many tools to call upon such as visualisations, dreamwork and creative imagination, but it is the relationship which lies at the heart of our therapeutic work, the foundation upon which we can begin the process of transformation.
Initial Consultation
During this session I will take a personal history so that I can gain an understanding of how I may be able to help you. During this session I will also explain the way that I work.
The length of therapy is tailored to you as a unique individual and what you are looking for from your therapy. Together we will regularly review the duration and goals of the therapy to make sure it continues to meet your needs.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
