About us
At INNATE Counselling & Psychotherapy, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to access meaningful therapeutic support, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Our counselling service provides a confidential, supportive and non-judgemental space for adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and bereavement, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, identity, life changes and emotional wellbeing.
You do not need to have a diagnosis or be in crisis to seek counselling.
Our counselling service
Sessions are £30 per session and are provided online by counsellors and therapists working under appropriate clinical supervision.
Our therapists work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches and placing importance on trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and person-centred practice. We recognise that every individual is different and work collaboratively with you to understand your experiences and what you would like to gain from counselling.
Your first step
We offer a free initial consultation by telephone with Sana Kamran, Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor and Founder of INNATE Counselling & Psychotherapy.
This provides an opportunity to briefly discuss what you are looking for, ask any questions you may have and consider whether our service is suitable for your needs. Where appropriate, we can then explore which therapist may be the best fit for you.
At INNATE, our aim is to provide professional therapeutic support within a safe, ethical and supportive environment, while making counselling more accessible to those who may otherwise find private therapy difficult to afford.
Training, qualifications & experience
Our Counselling Team
Our therapists and counsellors hold relevant counselling and psychotherapy qualifications and work in accordance with professional and ethical standards to NCPS, BACP and UKCP.
Our team includes therapists with experience across a range of areas, including trauma, grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Clinical Oversight
The low-cost counselling service is overseen by Sana Kamran, Founder, Clinical Director and Clinical Supervisor, who provides clinical supervision and oversight of the service.

You don’t always need to know exactly what’s wrong before seeking counselling. Sometimes you simply know that something doesn’t feel right, feels difficult to manage, or that you’re struggling to make sense of how you feel. Therapy can provide a space to explore this together, understand what may be behind it, and work towards what you need.

We take a considered approach to matching clients with therapists, based on the client’s needs and the therapist’s experience, training and suitability. We recognise that finding the right therapeutic fit is important and aim to connect each client with a therapist who is best placed to support them.
