About me
I am a qualified integrative counsellor, a couples therapist, and a registered member of the BACP. I offer both individual and couples counselling, providing a professional and supportive space to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences. My membership provides reassurance that I work in line with recognised ethical and professional standards.
I have experience working with charities, workplace counselling providers and in private practice, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds and life stages. This has deepened my understanding that every person's experiences are unique, and that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual or couple.
Working together, we can explore the difficulties you are experiencing, whether they relate to anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem, relationships, life changes or past experiences that may still be affecting you today. Therapy provides a regular, dedicated time to reflect, develop self-awareness and consider new ways of coping and moving forward. If relationship difficulties are at the heart of your concerns, I also offer couples therapy, providing a balanced and supportive space for both partners to explore their relationship together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an AIM Level 4 Diploma in Counselling, supported by AIM Level 3 Counselling and AIM Level 2 Counselling Skills, alongside a Certificate in Relational Couples Counselling that strengthens my work with partners navigating relationship challenges. My practice is continually enriched through ongoing CPD in a range of therapeutic approaches. Before becoming a counsellor, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Business Management. I spent ten years working in the IT industry, with additional experience in retail, finance, and logistics. This varied professional background gives me a grounded, real‑world understanding of the pressures people face across different environments, allowing me to bring empathy, insight, and a broad perspective into the counselling room.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
