About me

Welcome. By being here, you are already taking an important step towards positive change. I specialise in helping adults, young people, and where appropriate children and teens, to manage stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, life transitions, and related mental health challenges.
I also have deep experience supporting clients with ADHD and neurodiversity, PTSD, OCD, and the knock on effects these can have on confidence, relationships, work, and day to day wellbeing.

I am a fully qualified and professionally accredited Clinical Psychotherapist, Pluralistic Counsellor, Consultant Medical Hypnotherapist, and Mindfulness Teacher, with more than 20 years’ experience in health and wellbeing. I have a 4.9 star rating across more than 5,000 sessions. Alongside client testimonials, my clinic has also been part of research activity, and internal outcome tracking has shown an average improvement of 144% across seven life areas: Thoughts, Actions, Interactions, Confidence, Strengths, Achievements, and Happiness.

How would it feel to be significantly better in those ways? What might become possible if your energy was no longer tied up in surviving the week, and could be turned towards the life you want?

My approach is integrative and highly personalised. There is no one size fits all in mental health. Drawing from Clinical Psychotherapy, Pluralistic and Psychodynamic counselling, CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Humanistic therapy, Gestalt therapy, psychosomatic approaches, Advanced Medical Hypnotherapy, and mindfulness, we co-create a bespoke plan that fits your needs, your goals, and your pace.

At the heart of my work is a compassionate, professional commitment to help you:

• Understand and manage emotions and stress responses

• Shift long-standing patterns and life blocks

• Build emotional regulation, resilience, and sustainable wellbeing

• Clarify goals and move towards them with confidence

• Create real, lasting change, not just coping, but thriving

I do not try to “fix” you. I help you identify, practise, and strengthen the best version of yourself, even under pressure.

If helpful, I can also coach you in specialist self-help skills such as guided visualisation, self-hypnosis for anxiety and pain management, and neuroscience-informed strategies for emotional regulation and brain training.

My clinical practice, Alchemy Life Therapy, has supported hundreds of clients from all walks of life, both in person and securely online. I deliver an in work programme for the Welsh Government to help people stay in work. I also work with leading agencies providing trusted support to clients across the UK and internationally. I have delivered mental health programmes for the NHS, local authorities, education settings, businesses, and charities, and I bring that breadth of experience into our one to one work.

You are not alone. Help is available. Change can start today.

I offer an initial consultation where we can explore what is happening for you, what you want instead, and how we can work together. Many people experience hope and relief after the first session.
