About me

* My practice is currently full. I will remove this note when this changes *

Hello, my name is Eppy and I am an integrative therapist based in London. I offer sessions in either English or French.

How I work

I work in a warm and accepting way to support my clients in turning towards themselves. Drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are, I focus on understanding your experience and on offering a safe holding space in which you can be deeply heard and seen, and explore the issues you are bringing to therapy.  In our work together I aim to support you to welcome and integrate all the different parts of yourself and your experience, and to connect with yourself more fully.

I work intuitively and gently, supporting you to gain a deeper understanding and awareness of yourself. We will go with what you feel would be most valuable to explore and at a pace that feels comfortable to you. I believe that we each hold within ourselves so much potential for awareness, insight, healing and growth. Although I may at times offer suggestions I will not tell you what I think you should do, but support you in reorienting towards your own answers and wisdom.

Next steps

Beginning therapy can feel daunting, and finding someone that you have a good connection with is important. I offer a free 30 minute chat (via telephone or Zoom) to get a sense of whether you would feel comfortable working together. We can discuss what is bringing you to therapy, what you would like to get out of our sessions, my way of working, practicalities such as cost and location, as well as any other questions you may have. If you then decide that you would like to work with me we can book in our first session.

Training, qualifications & experience

I work with individuals, offering both short-term and open ended therapy. I have experience of working with attachment and relationship issues, body image, trauma, depression, anxiety, work-related stress, low self-esteem, meaning and purpose. I offer sessions in English or French.

My training was in Integrative Counselling with a focus on three core modalities: Person-Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis.

I also work using Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS). This therapeutic model encourages us to turn inwards, from a place of openness and curiosity, and to get to know the different "parts" of our personality. As we focus and listen internally, we become more aware of the dialogues and conflicts between different parts, as well as parts that carry wounds and pain that need attending to. IFS helps to bring about more self understanding and compassion, and trusts in people's innate wisdom and capacity for self healing.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
