About me

I use a range of evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (accredited practitioner with IPT-UK), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassionate Focused Therapy. A good therapeutic relationship is the foundation to therapy. I aim to provide a safe space where we can work together to develop a shared understanding of your experiences. Through development of a psychological formulation you will be able to identify your goals for therapy and this will help us to decide which therapeutic approach will best meet your needs. I am skilled in integrating therapeutic approaches to achieve your individual goals. We will work collaboratively on your goals for therapy. I aim to facilitate an environment where people can develop the knowledge and skills they need to live a fulfilling life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been a qualified clinical psychologist since 2015. My training means I am skilled in working with people across the lifespan, from childhood right through adult life. My work within the private sector has predominantly been with adults. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, adjusting to life transitions and difficulties in relationships. Within my NHS job I work with children, young people and their families. I am highly skilled at adapting therapy for children / young people, working indirectly with parents and working systemically with families.
