About me

I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in NHS mental health and psychotherapy services.

In my NHS practice I have offered psychological treatment for a range of different types of distress, supporting people with both recent and more long-standing difficulties. I currently work in specialist psychodynamic psychotherapy services with both adults and adolescents, providing therapy for complex and long-standing emotional and relational difficulties.

I have a private practice in North London, where I primarily offer brief and longer-term individual therapy for both adults and young people.

I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPC).

As a Clinical Psychologist I am trained in a range of evidence-based therapy approaches. I primarily draw on psychodynamic psychotherapy, as well as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and compassion-focused therapy (CFT) and can work flexibly to suit each person’s individual needs.

You can contact me via my page here or through email, and I will aim to get back to you as soon as possible with my availability.  We can then find a time to meet for an initial consultation, which may be extended over two sessions. This consultation will allow us to further discuss what has led you to seek psychological support, as well as to think together about whether the type of help I offer is right for you at this time. If we decide not to continue to meet, I will try to help direct you towards someone else who can help. Therapy can be brief in nature, or we may decide to continue longer-term.

Sessions for consultation or therapy last 50 minutes, and my fee for an initial meeting is £110.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a non-directive talking therapy which aims to help individuals explore the more unconscious aspects of their behaviour, thoughts and feelings. Increased awareness of some of the more troubling patterns can help you to understand more about what you’re feeling now and how this affects your relationships.
Psychotherapy can be brief in nature, focusing on your current difficulties, or a longer term exploration of the origins of repeated patterns of difficulty.
