About me

Ella is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, based in the UK with over 10 years experience of working therapeutically to help clients to improve their psychological well-being. In addition, she is also a trainee Psychosexual Therapist. Ella believes in using evidence-based theory and practice to overcome psychological distress and invites you to become curious about yourself.

Using approaches which help you to make sense of unhelpful ways of interpreting and responding to day-to-day experience and working towards meaningful change, Ella will help you to increase your awareness of your values, beliefs and goals and support you to improve your relationship with yourself and others.

With a realistic understanding of modern-life and the pressures that it can bring, Ella offers a creative, compassionate and pro-active approach to therapy which values openness, self-reflection and the desire to change.

Ella has a particular interest in psychosexual difficulties and is undergoing specialist training in this whilst working in a busy Sexual Health/GUM clinic. Difficulties one might typically experience include Erectile Dysfunction, Rapid or Delayed Ejaculations, low sexual desire, Dyspareunia (painful sex), Vaginismus (difficulty with vaginal penetration), sex or pornography addiction, problems associated with the Menopause), relationship problems, communication difficulties alongside many more complex sexual difficulties.
