About me
Perhaps something in your life or relationships isn't working as you would like it to. You may be struggling in a relationship, feeling anxious, overwhelmed or disconnected, trying to make sense of something that has happened to you, or finding yourself caught in patterns that seem difficult to change.
I am a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist and EMDR therapist. I work with adults, couples and families, with a particular interest in relationships, trauma, attachment and the ways our experiences are shaped by our families, histories and wider lives.
I have particular experience working with relationship difficulties, conflict and distance between couples or family members, parent–adult child relationships and estrangement, as well as trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex and relational trauma, anxiety, low mood, grief, neurodiversity and eating disorders.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed and body-oriented. Rather than seeing difficulties simply as something “within” you, we can explore what happens within and between us, including relationships, recurring patterns, family histories, identity, culture and belonging. Where appropriate, I can integrate EMDR within our work.
I offer online psychotherapy in English and Spanish to clients across the UK, both short- and longer-term.
If you're wondering whether I might be the right therapist for you, you're welcome to contact me or book a free initial conversation.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

How I work
I see therapy as something we create together. Rather than assuming that difficulties exist simply “within” a person, I am interested in understanding what happens within and between us, in our relationships, families, histories and wider social worlds.
Sometimes the patterns that cause difficulties today developed for very good reasons: to protect us, help us cope, maintain relationships or find a sense of belonging. Therapy can offer an opportunity to understand these patterns with curiosity and compassion, while exploring different possibilities for how you relate to yourself and to others.
My way of working is systemic, relational, trauma-informed and body-oriented. Depending on what brings you to therapy and what feels useful, we may draw on all of these in different ways: conversation and reflection, attachment and relationship patterns, family histories and genograms, EMDR, imagery and creativity, and attention to bodily experience and embodiment.
I don't believe that one approach suits everybody. We can adapt the work as we go, paying attention to what is, and isn't, helpful for you.
Relationships, couples and families
Relationships are a particular area of interest in my work. I work with couples and families experiencing conflict, distance, recurring patterns or difficulties communicating, as well as parents and children or adult children navigating difficult relationships, separation or estrangement.
Systemic psychotherapy can help us look beyond who is “right” or “wrong” and become curious about the patterns developing between people, what may be maintaining them and what each person may need from the relationship.
Trauma and EMDR
I have particular experience working with trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex and relational trauma, attachment and developmental trauma, moral injury and intergenerational trauma.
I offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a therapy in its own right, as well as integrating EMDR within longer-term psychotherapy where appropriate. Whether we are working primarily with EMDR or drawing on it as part of a broader therapeutic process, my overall way of understanding therapy remains systemic and relational. This means paying attention not only to traumatic experiences themselves, but also to relationships, attachment, family and personal histories, identity and context, and to how experiences may continue to be felt in the body, emotions, relationships and sense of self.
EMDR can be offered within regular sessions or, where appropriate, through longer or more intensive sessions arranged individually.
Working online
I currently work online with individuals, couples and families in English and Spanish. I offer both shorter-term focused work and longer-term psychotherapy. Longer sessions and EMDR intensives can also be arranged individually.
Online work can still include experiential and embodied ways of working; it does not have to consist only of talking. We can use imagery, creativity, family mapping, attention to bodily experience and other approaches where these are helpful.
I welcome conversations about accessibility, neurodiversity and any adjustments that might help make therapy more accessible or useful for you.
If you are unsure whether my way of working would suit what you are looking for, you are welcome to book a free 15-minute initial conversation.
Reflective practice and systemic consultation
Alongside psychotherapy, I offer reflective practice and systemic consultation for professionals working in health, mental health, therapeutic and helping professions. This can provide a space to think systemically about relationships, professional dilemmas, complex situations, patterns within teams and systems, and the impact of the work on the practitioner.
My approach draws on my background in systemic psychotherapy, healthcare, reflective practice, group facilitation, mentoring and professional training. This is separate from formal clinical supervision and does not replace supervision required for professional registration or training.
