About me

My life experiences and learning journey have influenced and shaped my passion for counselling. I feel privileged having the opportunity to walk alongside those who recognise when they are ready to seek support.

Indeed we are all different and each of our life stories are unique. Working with the pluralistic approach recognises individuality and enhances client autonomy.  Working collaboratively and with flexibility in sessions, promotes opportunities to explore many options.

For some, the counselling process can feel quite daunting - after all its the unknown!  So ....to give you an idea on what to expect........after our 15 minute free discussion, we would arrange a consultation.  This would be either online or face to face.  Part of this session includes contracting which gives clear information around session cost, how to pay, confidentiality, length of sessions and lots more.   This session also enables me to gain an overview of your difficulties with the opportunity to discuss your goals, and to use different approaches and tools that may be woven into sessions.  As a person centred therapist I offer as much choice and flexibility for session work, including wonderful opportunities to encourage curiosity and utilise creativity in order to explore and more fully understand thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

As the client, you decide on the pace of our work and how each session unfolds.  Each session is for 60 minutes and you can have as many sessions as you feel you need.

I can help with depression, anxiety, stress, low self esteem and confidence, relationship issues, low motivation and feelings of being 'stuck' and 'lost'.

I firmly believe the answers we may seek are held within us.  The counselling journey provides the opportunity  for us to embrace change and embark on a journey towards positive transformation.

If you feel ready to step into therapy, or if you are curious to know more, I warmly invite you to get in touch.
