About me

I offer counselling to adults and young people 18 years and above in the Bath area.

Working with clients who bring a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, loss/bereavement, relationships (past and present) and family dynamics.

As a Person-Centred Therapist, I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where my clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, gain insight into their innermost selves, and develop the skills and resources necessary to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, change, and self-actualisation and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them tap into their own wisdom and inner resources. Rather than offering advice or solutions, I facilitate a process of self-discovery and empowerment that allows my clients to make their own choices and live in accordance with their own values and goals.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck in life, I am here to help. Through a combination of active listening, unconditional positive regard, and reflective feedback, I will support you in developing greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-esteem.

If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth, I invite you to explore the transformative power of Person-Centred Therapy. Contact me today to schedule a consultation and learn more about how I can support you on your path to healing and self-actualisation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
