About me
We want to feel at peace but when life feels stuck, confusing, or out of balance, it can be hard to make sense of what is going on.
You might be coping day to day, but noticing that something doesn't feel right, familiar patterns keep repeating in ways that feel frustrating and confusing. This could show up in how you feel about yourself, in relationships, or in the way you respond to challenges.
Therapy offers a thoughtful, supportive and considerate space to explore what’s shaping your current experience and what may be getting in the way of change.
Through developing greater clarity and self-understanding, therapy can help you respond differently to both yourself and to the situations you face, so that you feel less stuck and more able to move forward with greater confidence and choice.
I believe that personal challenges are opportunities for meaningful change and growth, to help us better align with a life where we feel more satisfied and at peace.
What to expect
Therapy is collaborative and responsive space for reflection, processing, and the development of new ways of responding. It offers support in moments that feel difficult, overwhelming, or isolating, and provides strategies to help you cope and feel steadier, knowing you are not facing things alone. It is a space to explore the causes of struggles, the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life, and where these may be influencing your life today. Alongside developing understanding, new possibilities will emerge in how you relate to yourself and others, and help you gradually loosen what feels stuck. This leads to greater clarity, more emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of choice in how you move forward.

Next Steps
After you make contact and we can find time for an initial 50-minute discussion.
This session is offered free of charge and provides an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and how therapy might be able to support you. It also gives you space to ask any questions and to get a sense of whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to continue beyond this session.
Weekly Sessions
If you decide to continue, sessions take place weekly on the same day and time, and last 50 minutes. Therapy is open-ended, with the pace and length of the work shaped collaboratively, and reviewed as we go.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
