About me

Cydney is a certified and registered psychotherapist. Her practice encourages an embodied experience: using psycho-education, mindfulness and a creative psychodynamic approach.

Cydney nurtures social and emotional well-being so individuals can fulfill their potential, broaden their capacity and be more at ease within themselves.

Her therapeutic practice is underpinned by a passion for creativity and her experience in performing arts. Cydney is also a Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher, this reinforces an overall holistic approach that is her practice's bedrock.

Cydney tailors her approach to her client's needs; this allows her to work as a balanced, friendly, and professional therapist. Whether that be supporting a personal healing journey of self-discovery, or working collaboratively to hold space and care for group dynamics.

Cydney brings experience of working with a diverse client group from both private practice and ongoing work within Addiction and Co-dependency recovery and support wellbeing within the entertainment industry.

She is registered with The British Association of Dramatherapists and is recognised and committed to practicing by Health Care Professionals Council standards to ensure her ethical practice. HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
