About me

Are you or a loved one facing anxiety, grief, or relationship difficulties?

I provide compassionate, professional counselling for adults and couples in person or online, working at your pace.

With a qualification in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, I draw on my experience working in mental health and in the NHS to support you to navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, relationship issues, AuADHD, and life transitions in confidence.

Together, we can work toward increasing your emotional well-being and making meaningful changes in a safe and supportive environment, with most clients seeing improvements in 6 weeks.

I specialise in integrating talking therapy with a range of therapeutic modalities and techniques, offering a personalised approach for your individual needs. This is particularly effective for those dealing with deep-seated emotional pain, anxiety, and trauma, providing tools and insights that bring relief, and restore a sense of balance back in your life.

Counselling can assist with a variety of issues and challenges, I offer support as you work through challenging times, to gain insight into your emotional state and the difficulties you're encountering, giving you the opportunity to explore and reflect. I offer techniques and strategies to help you cope more effectively and navigate life’s challenges.

I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples within a safe and confidential space whilst respecting diversity and promoting inclusivity in my practice, where everyone is respected, affirmed and heard.

Please contact me to arrange a free introductory call to discuss your needs and how I can support you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
