About me

Together, we can talk over what is troubling you and explore the way ahead. I offer affordable sessions at convenient locations in Bournemouth Town Centre, Kinson, Moordown and West Howe. Our first meeting will be free and we will talk about what is important to you. If you feel you would like ongoing sessions with me the maximum cost will be £35. We will also consider how many sessions will be right for you - I can work at a pace to suit you, whether for just a few weeks or for a longer period.

You can talk over your difficulties with me and I can support you with the things that are causing you distress or confusion.

Training, qualifications & experience

My professional qualifications include:

  • Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling
  • Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Given people respond to different ways of working I can adapt to suit each client.

In addition, I have attended workshops for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to include using Mindfulness, and for using creativity.

I have been able to help people of all ages with a range of difficulties and problems whether at school, college, work or at home. People have come to see me about relationship worries, low mood, anxiety, bereavement, addiction, coping with illness or disability, anger or confusion.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
