I see clients outside in nature on Talbot Heath or Canford Heath, or at "The Cabin" in Branksome (see photo below). Therapy in nature, or inside, can improve self-esteem and helps to relieve sadness, anxiety or depression. Whether, outside or inside, our therapy sessions will help you to talk about your difficulties and I can support you with the things that are causing you distress or confusion. I can help you achieve a new sense of security and, with me, you can clarify your thoughts and explore what is troubling you. Together we can gain insight into the way ahead, helping you towards a new understanding of yourself and a sense of belonging and purpose. You can achieve self-acceptance whilst changing the aspects of your life that you want to.
If you think I could be who you're looking for, please get in touch and we can arrange a free introductory session. If you decide you would like ongoing sessions with me the maximum cost will be £35 per 50 minute session (a reduced fee may be possible - please see "concessions" below). I have worked with clients with a wide range of issues and I can work at a pace to suit you, whether for just a few weeks or for a longer period.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
