About me

Do you suffer with anxiety, feeling low or being overwhelmed? Do you sometimes feel disconnected from yourself and others? I am a qualified therapist  who, without judgement, helps you understand these issues so that you can discover your way forward.

For therapy to be successful, the relationship between client and therapist is paramount. Therefore, I work authentically and in a nurturing way to help create a safe and supportive space.

My background is in‘integrative’ therapy which means I draw on multiple therapeutic skills, tailoring the way I work to your individual needs and circumstances.

I am a fully qualified, insured and registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I adhere to its ethical framework.

As well as my private practice, I work for a charity providing emotional support to mothers experiencing a range of emotional difficulties, I am very experienced in maternal mental health.

I believe that finding the right counsellor is important. So, I offer a free initial 20-minute phone call or video call (Zoom) for you to see if it feels right, with no obligation to book any sessions after this.

I am fluent in Spanish and English.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor.

I have experience working with anxiety and depression, I have also supported people through many life transitions such as break-ups, parenthood, identity, religion, sexuality, profession and many more.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
