About me

I am a qualified Art Therapist who is passionate about working alongside children and young people to assist them to process and communicate their emotions, feelings and personal experiences through the engagement of art materials and play. I work predominantly following a psychodynamic, non-directive client centred approach to art therapy, however, I adapt my professional practice to meet the needs of each individual service user.

I believe that art is a powerful form of non-verbal communication which allows the individual to express their emotions and explore self-identity whilst being supported in a safe and contained environment.

Training, qualifications & experience

Masters in Art Therapy achieved from University of Hertfordshire in 2021

I have experience supporting children and young people who live with learning difficulties, Autism and/or ADHD and have practiced within private therapy settings as well as conducting my experiential learning within Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) school environments.
